Projects
I’ve been programming and developing software for decades. Here are some of the things I’m working on:
GP2040-CE
Since 2023 I’ve been a frequent (it still feels weird to say “core”) contributor to the GP2040-CE controller firmware project. It is a community attempt to create a fast and featureful multi-platform firmware that runs on the RP2040 microcontroller. I’ve contributed heavily to profiles, pin mapping, hotkeys, dual directional input, and the 4-way joystick modes, in addition to addressing various bugs and other small enhancements, such as making adjustments to the latency of the PS4 output mode.
The Buildable Stick System
The GP2040-CE project got me on the path of 3D printing my own arcade stick enclosures; the result is the Buildable Stick System, a set of OpenSCAD files yielding a modular stick. I’ve since printed at least a dozen sticks in my constant tinkering and iterations on the design.
